RULES FOR PROMOTION AND RECRUITMENT

Dear Soldier, 

Thank you for enlisting in General Albright’s Army.  The goal of the “Army” is a customer reward program and to build a community interested in the Civil War era .  Each dollar spent at the Albright Mansion counts as a point toward promotion to higher ranks within the “Army.”  Points may also be earned for recruiting other soldiers.  Below are listed the current points required and time in grade required to be promoted. 

Enlistment is free to all interested persons of any age. 

Each new enlistee starts at the grade of Private.  No points are awarded for enlisting. 

(Although promotional material in the future may provide for points.)

 

Recruiting of each new soldier:                                50 points

(Recruitment Points are rewarded only once per enlistment.  If any soldier desires to enlist under another recruiter they must surrender their ID card for a period of 30 days.  After this time period new recruitment points will be awarded to the new recruiter.  This activity is allowed only once each calendar year.) 

Points indicated are total accumulated points from purchases and recruitment activity: 

To promote from Private to Corporal                      1,000 Total Accumulated Points (TAP)

and 90 days time in grade as Private 

Corporal to Sergeant                                    2,000 TAP and 90 days time in grade as Corporal 

Sergeant to Sergeant Major                                     3,000 TAP and 90 days time in grade as Sergeant 

Sergeant Major to Lieutenant                                 4,000 TAP (no time in grade requirement for officers) 

Lieutenant to Captain                                               5,000 TAP  

Captain to Major                                                       10,000 TAP 

Major to Lieutenant Colonel                                    15,000 TAP 

Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel                                  20,000 TAP 

Brigadier General and above                                   30,000 TAP (Plus 10,000 TAP for promotion to each grade of General Officer, i.e., Major General, Lt. General and General.  Thus a full General will have earned 60,000 TAP)
